There is a great deal of interest in the global nuclear industry in what are called small modular reactors (SMRs). These are nuclear reactors that will be built in modules in a factory and assembled on site. They are supposed to be safer and cheaper than full sized nuclear power reactors. By definition, these SMR generate three hundred megawatts or less.

My poor lavender trees. I received them for Mother's Day but I'm terrible at keeping the soil moist--not wet and not dry--which is killing them. I'm not sure what to do as I've tried moving them around for different levels of sunlight. Any ideas?

A new species of diamond frog, the Rhombophyrne Ellae, has been discovered in Madagascar. Upon seeing the creature's orange markings, Dr. Mark D. Scherz knew immediately that it was a new species. The frog has excellent camouflage capabilities and beautiful yellow eyes.
Dr. Scherz says to find a new species like it in the area points to gaps in our knowledge of area fauna, prompting more research to be completed to find even more new species.
