A Very 80s Mansion

Remember playing MASH (Mansion, Apartment, Shack, House) with your friends in school as you attempted to divine who you'd marry, what you'd drive, your career and where you might live? If you did this in the early 90s or late 80s, chances are you dreamed of a mansion like this desert oasis in Indian Wells, CA, where you could live in hot pink splendor.

Best Coffee Drinks at Home

Whipped coffee is all the rage, but when I attempted the drink it was pretty awful. Granted, I don't usually buy instant coffee and the stuff I had was a little old and hardened, but not expired, so I may try it again. There are plenty of other incredible coffee drinks I've had from my own kitchen, though, and I'm sure you have had many, too!

The Best Pork Chop Recipes

In our house, pork is a favorite protein, only coming second to chicken. We like to make it in a wide variety of ways, with my favorites being medallions or a nice tenderloin marinated in something delicious, like mesquite barbecue sauce. We would love to try some new recipes for pork chops, so I thought I'd ask how everyone else likes to have their pork!

Best Sources For Books At Home

Getting books at home has never been easier than it is in 2020, when we have various ereaders, apps and online shopping available to us, but which sources are the best for getting your books the fastest and cheapest?

Some might say Amazon.com, but you can often find cheaper books at sources like Thrift Books, Better World Books, eBay and other sellers. You can also support indie sellers at Bookshop.org, which puts money into local book businesses.

Yummy Cocktails This Week

Whether you're under at home orders, relaxing after working in an essential job or just experimenting with new flavors, creating new cocktails at home is always a fun way to pass the time. It's a quick way to be creative and you can often create some of the tastiest concoctions just by playing with your ingredients.

Take Action Today

It's nice to share ways we can still improve this country even during uncertain times. Right now, I'm amazed at all the people working hard to save the USPS by buying stamps like there's no tomorrow! I just bought three sheets of cool stamps (spooky Halloween stamps, dinosaurs and Year of the Rat) and if you can, I'd like to encourage you to do so, too.

Peaky Pothos

For some reason, I just can't keep my pothos plant happy. It should be super easy to grow, but it got sunburned when I put it in a too-sunny window the first week I brought it home back in January and it still hasn't fully recovered. It has some beautiful new vines streaming from the plant itself but much of it still looks peaky.
