Mood Drinking

Are you a mood drinker? Do you drink specific things to uplift your mood or compliment your feelings? I know I love to drink mead if I'm at a Ren Faire or engaging in festivities, enjoy a beer on tap during the Fourth of July and have hot chocolate on the first day of winter, but these are more traditions rather than moods.

October Read-a-Thons

As October rapidly approaches, many of us are already looking at October Read-A-Thons. There are so many that it's a good time to start planning if you're going to participate!

There's the FrightFall Read-a-Thon, the Hocus Pocus Read-a-Thon, and Spookathon, which are probably my favorites. There are also plenty of non-Halloween themed ones if you're really not into spooky reads. There's the Page-A-Thon, the Hypeathon, Off Grid Readathon, and several others!

Hobbit Day Recipes

Hobbit Day is coming up on Sunday! It's a great day to not only rewatch all of your Hobbit and Lord of the Rings favorites, but to engage in Hobbit-themed activities, crafts and even make hobbit recipes! If you have a set of hobbit hears, go ahead and put them on. No judgement here!
